Ahad Moslemi and Alice Mestriner are a contemporary artist duo whose work focuses on the investigation and formation of meanings that are changed or modified, lost or redefined over time. During their fellowship they created the work PARADEISOS. LAYERS OF MEMORY, a carpet woven from dust.

PARADEISOS. LAYERS OF MEMORY has been on display as an intervention in the exhibition “Discovering the West” at the Ethnological Museum in the Humboldt Forum, which deals with Turkish and Persian perspectives on the West and emphasizes the power and resistance of appropriation and reinterpretation, the results of which are mixing and transformation.
